Family fun with colourful LEGO bricks
When Danish master carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen began producing small and colourful plastic bricks in 1949, the first step was made towards the construction toys that every child knows as LEGO today.
Over the past decades these bricks have become cult items. Nowadays, there are some theme parks in Europe and the USA that are based solely on his invention. All attractions, decoration elements and restaurants are themed to LEGO bricks creating the parks unique appearance.
