This wooden roller coaster is built by the American manufacturer GCI, that also favored Freizeitpark Plohn with El Toro in 2009, is located behind the Whale Adventure Splash Tour right next to Blue Fire. Europa-Park's eleventh roller coaster towers more than 40 metres, measures 1.050 metres in lengths as indicated and is supposed to reach a speed of more 100 km/h. WODAN is situated in the backdrop of a Viking village. Due to the long waiting line, it is to be expected that Europa-Park counts on a high number of visitors wanting to ride the three-train-attraction.

The line is full of beautiful mythical creatures and scenes of the nordic mythology appearing to get more and more into the timberwork of Timburcoaster. If one wishes to up the pace and willing to do without company and the artwork of mythical creatures, may choose the entrance Single-Rider.

When entering the station of WODAN, riders are quickly lead in one of the twelf elaborately themed wagons of the trains. Eventhough many roller coaster enthusiasts prefer the first row, the majority of participants at the day of launching claimed that the last trains were better. The ride starts with a fast pace into a left turn and continues uphill. At the top it accelerates considerably thundering down through the first drop to the first tunnel and continues its thrilling course.

It is clear that Europa-Park's visitors will love this ride, particularly as the interaction of the adjacent coasters Blue Fire and Atlantica makes WODAN a real head-turner being a sensible supplement to Germany's biggest amusment park, which offers a wide range of attractions anyhow.
