Pure adrenaline: The "Tower of Power"

Siam Park

Siam Park on the island of Tenerife is justly called Europe's biggest water park. Numerous heart-pounding slides are spread across the area of around 185,000 square metres that also includes an impressive Asian theme part with Far-Eastern temples, deities and dragons. The steep slide "Tower of Power”, with its almost vertical 28 metre drop, is without a doubt Siam Park's most iconic feature. "Kinnaree”, one of the newest slides, combines several elements and was recently awarded the best water attraction in Europe. Surf fanatics highly appreciate the "Wave Palace” that has artificial waves rising up to 3 metres. Visitors of all ages can choose between a ProSlide Tornado named to the giant Dragon holding it, racing slides, a cosy lazy river ride, a splashy water fortress for children, etc. Siam Park even features a "Floating Market” filled with shops in a typical Thai village scene.

Aqualandia

Situated along the Adria coast in Lido di Jesolo near Venice, Italy's biggest water park almost takes in 80,000 square metres and offers 26 attractions in 7 themed areas, including the wave pool "Shark Bay” with real Caribbean sand. Aqualandia's prime attraction is indubitably the highest slide in the world "Spacemaker”. Visitors, who are daring enough to ride this thrilling attraction, will plunge down on inflatable rafts reaching up to 100 kilometres per hour. Another jaw-dropper is the 38 metre high tube slide "Scary Falls” with a 60 degree slope in the final part. Besides many other exciting slides, Aqualandia provides a giant Bungee Jumping tower and numerous great shows and animations.

AQUA BRAVA – Parque Aquàtic Roses

The Spanish water park AQUA BRAVA is located in Bahía de Roses, one of the most important tourist villages on the Costa Brava. A varied range of 18 amazing attractions are awaiting visitors under the hot Mediterranean sun: Europe's biggest wave pool, a pool with climbing frames, Octospeed with 8 parallel slides, a lazy river, various family-friendly slides, etc. Adrenaline junkies are keen on AQUA BRAVA's steep and speedy slides in particular. The dark tube slide "Black hole” and the river rafting adventure "Anaconda”, that races through 200 metres of series of twists and turns, are also fun attractions, whereas the youngest patrons have a blast at the children areas "Tropic Island” and "Kids Lagoon”.

AREA 47

Loacated at the entrance to the Ötztal valley in Tyrol, AREA 47 is rather a giant adventure playground than a sole water park. The Austrian park not only features a swimming lake of 7,000 square metres that includes a thrilling water slide park filled with, for example, a drop slide reaching up to 80 kilometres per hour, a Cannon Ball water catapult, springboards in dizzy heights and a curvy 140 metre long Twister slide, but also further adventurous attractions. Among these, one will find climbing facilities with the "Flying Fox” rope slide, that will shoot courageous visitors 300 metres across the entire water area, and "Mega Swing” where visitors dangle between the bridge pillars at an airy height. Further outdoor activities, such as rafting and canyoning, round off AREA 47's diversified, fun-packed programme.

Here you will find more attractive water parks.
