Artworks for Eclipse
The number of the so far announced new attractions at European amusement parks is rather modest this year. It is all the more gratifying that a new world-record attraction for the Swedish amusement park Gröna Lund has recently been announced. This ride is sure to delight fans of the Scandinavian park!

Just in time for Gröna Lund's 130th anniversary, the tallest Star Flyer in the world "Eclipse” will be opened. Visitors may look forward to enjoying an incredible view high above Stockholm at a maximum height of 121 metres. Although this new attraction is "merely” more or less going to be a swing ride, its height will certainly beckon to thrill seekers as a great deal of challenge, all the more so as the rotating movements reach a top speed of 70 kilometres per hour during the two-minute ride. Nevertheless, "Eclipse” can easily compete with family rides, owing to its minimum height restriction of 1.20 metres. It will have 12 swings with a capacity of 24 people per ride. Those wishing to hover towards the Swedish sky, may do so from 27th April.
