Map of the park
On July, 21st 2012 there will be the groundbreaking for Adventure World Warsaw, a new theme park resort in Poland opening in 2015 only 30 kilometres away from the Polish capital Warsaw. Soon construction works are going to start for the themepark, a water park, hotels and an entertainment complex. The existing infrastructure is perfect for a park in Poland. Around 11 mio. people live within a periphery of 250 km. The planned autobahn from Berlin to Moscow will be a fast west-east-route connecting Warsaw with Western Europe.

The design of the parks is kind of Disney-style. There is a main street with a large hub connecting different themed areas about Egypt, classic Polish fairytales, middle-age England or fantasy. Published artworks also show a lovely and detailed theming comparable to Disney. How those concepts will be realized remains to be seen when the park is going to open in three years – the artworks of Rainbow Magic Land in Italy looked much more impressive than the final result.

800.000.000 US$ will be invested in the project by an international consortium based in Luxemburg. 2.000.000 people are expected to come to Adventure Land Warsaw in the first years – and this coul be a realistic assessment considering the absence of any competition within reach. Visitors can excpect a Vekoma minetrain coaster with "Merlin" theming, a Zamperla MotoCoaster with brooms, a Vekoma junior boomerang, a Mack spinning coaster and an launch indoor coaster. Also there will be a Rafting in an old castle, a Mayan log flume, a Vekoma madhouse and an interactive darkride about Atlantis with water and projection effects. The park will be designed by the Dutch company Jora Vision having worked for Tivoli Kopenhagen, Efteling, Walibi Holland or Futuroscope in the past. Time will tell if the timeline can be met and if the park will really open its gate in three years.
