Located in the heart of Modjeska Canyon adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public to enjoy and learn about the local wildlife and natural habitat in the Southern California canyon area. Visitors to Tucker's natural history museum can observe a giant grizzly bear as well as eagles, bobcats, squirrels, owls, cougars, etc. Furthermore, the facilities of the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary include a caretaker's house, a bird observation porch and feeders, a small amphitheater, two ponds, a gift shop, relaxing patio and picnic areas, and hiking trails.
Opening hours and pricing
Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., except major holidays.
Admission is free - donations are gratefully accepted
