Copenhagen's Tivoli inspired Walt Disney to create his famous theme worlds. Tivoli Gardens is far more than just another amusement park – it is the green lung of Copenhagen, a meeting point for many thousands of Danes and tourists alike, the focal point of a cosmopolitan city and probably of a whole kingdom. Its main attraction is Rutschebanen, the world's oldest wooden roller coaster still in operation.

Tivoli
Memories are still fresh of the Saturday night`s magical visit to shinning Tivoli Gardens of Copenhagen. The high entrance fee is worth the value of more than two dozen fun rides, puppet theatre, amazing laser lights show and much more. We enjoyed the lovely dinner on the “Pirate Ship” and stayed there till mid-night. My son aged 6 years enjoyed so much that he never wanted to come out from that magical place. With a promise to come back next week-end we managed to lure the little one to get ready to go home. In our hearts, we carried the impressions of fun and pleasure we had at Trivoli Gardens.

It's great to see, how a park, located just in the middle of a city, works out to be a centre of joy and fun. The park spreads so much charm and a feeling of security. As a theme park enthusiast, I like the fact, that the park should have inspired Disney to creat it's famous Parks.
