Idlewild amusement park is a park with a very long tradition! The area was made available to the public as picnic grounds by the landowner in the year of 1878, and when the railway reached the region, the park began to grow continuously from 1931 on. Today Idlewild Park – consisting of the amusement park Idlewild Park and the water park Soak Zone – is the third-oldest amusement park in the United States.

A good family park.
We took our son to idle wild &Soak Zone in last fall. We paid parking fee in advance for our car.
Amazingly, the park was very neat and clean. It had lots of neat and clean bathrooms.

There were no huge rides, and no teenage crowd. It was the perfect place my 6years old son. The little kid`s area was full of rides not seen before. He could enjoy each and every ride except few bigger rides.
The water park located at the back presents a great thrill both for small kids as well as their parents.
We were happy to visit an amusement park with historic values and older style rides. It was affordable.
