Inaugurated in 1913, Franklin Park Zoo is situated in Massachusetts. The historical park houses various exotic animal species from around the world right in the middle of Boston. The exhibit areas comprise the tropical rain forest where visitors can observe gorillas and furhter animals as well as plants, the Giraffe Savannah, the exciting Serengeti Crossing and "Kalahari Kingdom" with an African lion, the Australian outback, and "Franklin Farm" where children can cuddle with animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys, or ponies. Moreover, one should not miss the enclosure "Tiger Tales".

Opening hours and pricing

Franklin Park Zoo is open daily from 10am. From April to September it closes at 5pm on weekdays (on weekends and major holidays one hour later) and from October to March 7 days a week at 4pm.
Last entry one half hour before closing.

Senior (62+)   $14,00
Children (ages 2 - 12)   $11,00
Children (under the age of 2)   free
From 10:00 am until noon on the first Saturday of every month, all guests will be charged the children’s admission price.

what a big zoo
I was there in 2007 and the only thing I remember is that it was/is huge! And they have nice and exciting spots for kids.
