Nestled on 85 acres (34 ha) in Duke Forest, The Duke Lemur Center is the world's largest sanctuary for rare and endangered prosimian primates. It gives home to over 250 lemurs, bush babies and lorises. Furthermore, the educational center is the only university-based facility devoted to the study of prosimian primates.
